Let’s take a look at who to target on your Week 14 Waiver Wire. In general, these players will be injury replacements or those who I think have a chance to break out. Remember, it’s unlikely that someone here will be the next fantasy great, but you should find some low-end RB2s, WR3s, and bye week starters with upside potential. Most players listed will be less than 50 percent owned according to FantasyPros consensus roster percentage.
Week 14 Waiver Wire- Quarterback Targets
Daniel Jones, Colts (62.0% Rostered) | 5%-7% FAAB
It is probably a long shot that he’s available in your leagues, but Daniel Jones has a great schedule coming up with Jacksonville twice, Seattle, and San Francisco. He has not scored less than 16 points since Week 4 and has played some of the better defenses the last couple of weeks.
Tyler Shough, Saints (7.8% Rostered) | 2%-3% FAAB
Tyler Shough put up 18.4 points against Miami last week. Look for him to do well again this week against an even worse defense in the Buccaneers, who have given up 22.1 points per game to quarterbacks the last four weeks. He makes a great spot start if you are missing Drake Maye, Jaxson Dart, or Brock Purdy due to bye weeks.
Others to consider:
Bryce Young, Panthers (21.0% rostered) – Great playoff schedule.
Trey Lance, Chargers (0.6% rostered) – Justin Herbert handcuff in 2QB/Superflex leagues if he misses time due to surgery.
Shedeur Sanders, Browns (10.3% rostered) – Looks like he is the starter going forward.
Week 14 Waiver Wire- Running Backs
Blake Corum, Rams (17.2% Rostered) | 10%-15% FAAB
Blake Corum is one of the best handcuffs you can roster. Even when Kyren Williams is healthy, he is playing around one-third of the snaps. Now Williams is banged up, so Corum could get more carries, especially this week against Arizona. Arizona over the last three weeks (before Week 13) had been giving up 27.7 PPR points to running backs, and Bucky Irving just lit them up for 16.1 in his first game since Week 5. Blake Corum is easily a WR3/flex this week and has potential moving forward.
Kyle Monangai, Bears (59.7% Rostered) | 15%-20% FAAB
Frankly, I was surprised to see that Kyle Monangai was less than 60% rostered. He hasn’t put up less than 10 PPR points since Week 10 and has gotten around 50% of the snaps the last couple of weeks. At this point, he is much more than a handcuff to D’Andre Swift, and you can expect both backs to get plenty of carries this week against a mediocre Packers’ run defense (they get them again in Week 16).
Others to consider:
Nick Chubb, Texans (41.1% rostered) – Woody Marks‘ handcuff, potential committee.
Jerome Ford, Browns (20.4% rostered) – Handcuff for Quinshon Judkins, since Dylan Sampson is banged up.

Week 14 Waiver Wire- Wide Receivers
Adonai Mitchell & John Metchie, III, Jets (4.1% & 8.5% rostered) | 2%-4% FAAB
Tyrod Taylor has actually made the Jets’ passing game useful for fantasy. Every week since being traded for, both Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie have seen more and more targets to the point where they are both in the WR4/flex mix. With their defense performing well below average, New York should have to throw the ball a lot, so their receivers should receive a lot of targets down the stretch.
Devaughn Vele, Saints (1.4% rostered) | 2%-4% FAAB
Since the Saints’ bye week, Devaughn Vele has been much more involved in their passing game, to the tune of 15 targets the last two weeks. Vele is clearly the number two receiver in New Orleans, and they have some match-ups coming up that should allow him to be much closer to the 23.3 PPR points he had last week than the 4.3 points he has averaged this season.
Others to consider:
Jayden Higgins (37.0% rostered) – Wrote about him last week.
Christian Watson, Packers (36.8% rostered), is a boom/bust player with great match-ups two of the next three weeks.
Week 14 Waiver Wire- Tight Ends
Dalton Schultz, Texans (48.0% rostered) | 3%-5% FAAB
It looks like the Houston offensive coordinator has finally realized that they need to get the ball out quickly with that porous line. Since Week 7, Dalton Schultz is the TE11. Over that time, he has averaged almost eight targets and 11.5 ppr points per game. He does not have the upside of the best tight ends, but he definitely has a solid floor every week, especially with Kansas City and Las Vegas coming up the next two weeks.
Brenton Strange, Jaguars (28.8% rostered) | 3%-5% FAAB
In the two weeks since Brenton Strange came off IR, he has scored 14.3 and 13.5 PPR points and is averaging over 17 yards per reception. In the next four weeks, Strange faces the Colts twice, the Jets, and the Broncos, all of whom have below-average defenses against tight ends recently. If you don’t have an elite tight end, Strange is a great option for that final push to the championship.
Others to consider:
Juwan Johnson, Saints (43.2% rostered) – wrote about in Week 12.
A.J. Barner, Seahawks (17.8% rostered) – He has been getting a lot of targets lately.
