As we get ever closer to the start of the NFL season, it means we need to start setting our dynasty rosters. With that, there will inevitably be a few spots at the bottom of our roster that we need to fill. Here, we present four players that you can acquire with late-round picks or as an added piece in trades. Scooping them up now will only pay dividends this year or next. Let’s dive into the Dynasty Deep Stashes for June 2025. A reminder that these are players you can get for a last-round pick next year or as throw-ins on a bigger trade.
Dynasty Deep Stashes
Jacob Cowing: Wide Receiver- San Francisco 49ers
Everyone this offseason is talking about a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver. Some will claim Jauan Jennings is poised to be the lead dog with Brandon Aiyuk possibly missing time. Others are riding the Ricky Pearsall train. While we all know tight end George Kittle will lead the team in targets. I’m here to tell you the wide receiver Jacob Cowing is someone you need to be adding to your dynasty rosters.
Cowing was a 4th round pick in 2024 for the 49ers. He struggled to get on the field with a crowded wide receiver room that had Deebo Samuel, Aiyuk, Jennings, and Pearsall. With Deebo now in Washington (potential league winner) and Aiyuk potentially out to start the season, Cowing has the opportunity to get snaps.
On two wide sets, we can expect Jennings to be one of the main receivers. He projects as the flanker role. He split his routes between outside and slot almost 50-50 last season. The question then is who would be the X receiver. Lining up on the outside and tethered to the line. Based on last year, that would be Pearsall. When the 49ers move to three wide sets, that is where Cowing comes into the picture. Much like Jennings, Cowing lined up almost 50-50 between the slot and out wide. That versatility will be key in the Kyle Shanahan system.
Cowing was a solid college player, posting seven or more touchdowns for three straight years in college before getting drafted. We all loved Jennings and Pearsall as the third man behind Deebo and Aiyuk. Now we should be feeling the same way about Cowing. A player who was better in college than Jennings and Pearsall. With Jennings headed for free agency after this season, we should see Cowing’s role and snaps increase. That’s the type of player we want to stash in dynasty leagues.
Johnny Wilson: Wide Receiver- Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles don’t have many needs. It’s rare for a team to win the Super Bowl and keep the majority of its starters in place. With that being said, the Eagles have been linked to rumors of trading away starting tight end Dallas Goedert. Although a trade never materialized during the draft or free agency period, the future for Goedert in Philadelphia remains uncertain. On top of Goedert, both Kylen Granson and Grant Calcaterra are hitting the open market as well. So, what will the Eagles do at tight end moving forward? They will have to draft one or trade, but that doesn’t mean the workload will automatically be assigned to that player. Enter sophomore wide receiver Johnny Wilson.
Wilson set the record for the tallest player to participate in the NFL Combine and was the tallest player drafted in the past decade. Coming in at a towering 6’7”, Wilson has the size of a tight end. While he was asked repeatedly about switching positions before the draft, he, nor the team, has indicated that it would happen. That doesn’t mean he won’t run similar routes to what Goedert has been running the past few years. Wilson was underwhelming in his rookie season and will have to find his time to get on the field going forward.
His size is his weapon. He is a mismatch against anyone who lines up across from him. After A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, the door is wide open for third in the target pecking order. Currently, that has been Goedert, but someone will need to step up after this year. With the amount of free agents the Eagles will have to sign, they probably can’t spend too much on another pass catcher and will have to build from within. Wilson should have his chance to be that guy.
Jalin Coker: Wide Receiver- Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers are on the come-up. Despite a rough rookie season, quarterback Bryce Young seems to have found his footing in the NFL. They have spent significant draft capital and free agency money on upgrading the offense. They drafted Tetairoa McMillan, who many believe was the top wide receiver in this year’s class. This came after drafting Xavier Legette last year in the first round. While bolstering now two first-round talents at wide receiver as well as soon-to-be 35-year-old Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker is a guy you can’t ignore as a dynasty stash.
Coker had hype last season. Many analysts on social media were announcing that they were all in on Coker. Especially when he seemed poised for significant playing time. Coker only ended up with four games with double-digit fantasy points, but his future points point to many more to come. Part of what caused Coker to see less than the ideal playing time was the fact that Thielen was still playing at a high level. Both Coker and Thielen play a significant number of snaps in the slot role. That will continue this year. Why Coker will get more snaps is simple. Father Time always wins. Thielen missed seven games last season. It’s the last year of his contract, and retirement rumors get spun up every year. Adam Thielen saw 62 targets last season and caught five touchdowns. Coker should eat into that total more heading into his second year.
The Panthers are young and building. Coker should be their slot player for the foreseeable future. Having a solid wide receiver group under contract helps the Panthers spend elsewhere. As a dynasty stash, we want players under contract on up-and-coming offenses. It’s a way to see a quick increase in production and value.
Tyler Allgeier: Running Back- Atlanta Falcons
Tyler Allgeier isn’t the dynasty deep stash name I usually like to have in this article. Yes, Tyler Allgeier is the handcuff for Bijan Robinson. We know Allgeier has some standalone value. Last year, he had seven weekly finishes inside the top 36 running backs. We know how a handcuff who has already seen work can be a huge boon if given a bigger role. What most people aren’t talking about with Allgeier is his future potential, not with the Atlanta Falcons.
Tyler Allgeier is slated to be a free agent after this season. He will be just over 26 years old. While this free agency class of running backs is deep, Allgeier is the 6th youngest out of the group. Considering he will only have around 750 carries, the wear and tear isn’t there compared to others. There is a high likelihood that Allgeier signs with a team as the lead back. Something similar to what the Tennessee Titans did in 2023 with Tony Pollard and then drafting Tyjae Spears.
If you can get a guy at backup values who will turn into, at worst, a split-carry starter, you are winning at dynasty. Let’s not forget that Allgeier led college football in yards and touchdowns in his last year. He’s no scrub.
Roster Clogger
Mike Gesicki: Tight End- Cincinnati Bengals
We all know tight end can be a crap shoot. We have been lucky the past few seasons with rookies having an instant impact. Finding value in a veteran can be a great way to get value if you stash them on your dynasty roster. One veteran I’m moving on from is Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki.
Was Gesicki good last year? He was okay. He finished as TE13 for the year. It was his fourth-highest finish of his seven-year career. He had six weeks where he finished with double-digit fantasy points. Solid as a streamable tight end. So why should you unload this roster clogger now?
Let’s look at the splits with and without wide receiver Tee Higgins in the lineup. Without Higgins, Gesicki averaged 7.2 targets and 62 yards. Games with Higgins in the lineup, 3.2 targets, and 29.4 yards. Gesicki only had two touchdowns on the year. With Higgins back fully under contract, Gesicki drops down lower on the target pecking order. Gesicki is 30 years old and has been spotty at best with his production. He is signed through 2026, but next year his contract flips, where there will be significant savings for the Bengals if they move on. They drafted Erick All to be his eventual replacement, but injuries have slowed that progress. All should be back next year and ready to take the role, or perhaps the Bengals bring in someone else.
Gesicki still holds value for contending dynasty teams. You should be able to trade him away to a contender and get a future pick. It will free up a roster spot for a younger, higher upside, and a longer production outlook.
