I began playing fantasy football in 2004 in a league with friends, but I never took it too seriously at the time. Football was always my third favorite sport behind hockey and baseball. I continued to play all three sports casually with friends and family until 2014, when I started working as a fantasy hockey analyst. I spent about four years focused on fantasy hockey. However, when the pandemic hit and the NHL shut down due to COVID, I began to shift my attention to fantasy football and started taking it more seriously.

One day, I came across a Twitter post from a company called The League Winners looking for fantasy football writers. I responded, got hired, and within a year became their Content Director. That role helped open many doors for me in the industry. Over the next four years, I had the opportunity to work with several respected platforms, including Player Profiler, DLF, FantasyPros, and IDP Guys. Eventually, I co-founded a company called The Fantasy Football Universe along with fellow analysts Jeremy Shulman, Jesse Moeller, and SC Romero. I worked there tirelessly for a year before stepping away due to health concerns.

After my health improved, I returned to the space and currently contribute to Fantasy Football Advice Network, Fantrax, and The Undroppables, with a focus on covering the Detroit Lions.

I’m a jack of all trades at FSAN. I’ve done everything from standing in as an editor to creating graphics. I’m well-versed in all aspects of the business and take great pride in being hands-on, creating everything I do from scratch.

No matter where you find my work, know that it’s created entirely by me, from start to finish. Whether it’s podcasts, where I handle thumbnails, shows, and on-screen graphics, or written content, where I manage article covers, writing, and social media posts, I make sure all my content is 100% crafted to my specifications with minimal involvement from others. That’s probably a luxury my day job affords me.

Think of me as the Hulk Hogan of fantasy football. I never give up creative control on any of my projects and am often heard saying, “That doesn’t work for me, brother.

While I am not full-time in the fantasy football industry, and I do not aspire to be, I remain passionate about the work. As a single parent with full-time custody of a child, and with a day job that offers more financial stability than fantasy could provide, this remains a passion project rather than a career path.
