I’ve been a football fan since my youth and followed the natural progression of starting to play fantasy football in middle school after a few years of dominating the gridiron on Madden (for Gamecube, of course). Since that fateful day when I first created a CBS Sports account I’ve been hooked. These days I play fantasy football of all types of formats- dynasty, devy, keepers, IDP, you name it. I have even dabbled in dynasty hockey and baseball for over a decade as well. I love all types of fantasy football, but I gotta say, keeper leagues always seem to provide the most fun- there’s so many ways to put a twist on them and it keeps every year fresh.

This is my first official foray into the world of fantasy content creation, though I have dabbled with my own blog in the past. And if you’re in any of the same Discords as me I’m sure you’ve seen my long rants and antagonistic style of pushing narratives and negging players I hate. It’s all in good fun, and I look forward to bringing that same energy every week on the Devy Dojo.

At Devy Dojo, my co-host, Dustin, and I aim to bring broader awareness to the devy format and to help our viewers grow as talent evaluators and dynasty managers. We seek to bring the college game to our audience in an easy-to-understand manner and help them to identify the future of the NFL sooner than their competition. By utilizing modern analytics to support traditional scouting tactics we will evaluate how current collegiate players can translate to the NFL not only as lineup contributors but as potential high picks in the draft.
