The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 6 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

Five weeks into the season, fantasy managers are trying to determine which performances they can trust. A touchdown can rescue a quiet afternoon, and one long reception can turn limited involvement into a useful finish. The harder question comes when it is time to set the next lineup: Who actually controls the opportunities in these…

Week 5 Lineup Decisions the Rankings Still Miss

Week 5 Lineup Decisions the Rankings Still Miss I opened the Week 5 boards this morning and wanted to argue with rankings still living in August. This is not another polite start and sit column that shrugs and trusts the consensus without a fight. These are the lineup decisions that swing a week when managers…

2026 Week 5 Start or Sit Players

We’re through four weeks of the NFL season, and we’ve now entered the first of the bye weeks. The Chiefs and Panthers are on a bye, leaving a lot of starting-worthy players out. It’s time to make those pivotal lineup decisions on who to start in their place in Week 5. We’ll be breaking down…

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

Perception vs. Reality. A constant struggle that typically differentiates the informed from the vibers. “Why is scoring so low this year?” “Wide receivers are better than running backs.” “Tight ends are useless after the top five.” These are examples of questions and statements that have come across my feed over the past couple of weeks….

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

I have repeatedly talked about how the fantasy football season is a war of attrition, but even I have to admit the number of expensive fantasy assets already hit by injuries is alarming this early. De’Von Achane is lost for the season with a torn ACL. A.J. Brown has been sidelined by a high ankle…

2026 Week 3 Start or Sit Players

Stay prepared with my Week 3 start/sit picks for your lineups. Quarterbacks to Start in Week 3: Tyler Shough (NO vs. LV) & Bryce Young (CAR @ CLE) The #1…

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

144 fewer points. From roughly 49 points per game to 40 points per game. What am I talking about? The difference in scoring around the NFL from Week 1 to Week 2. The league went from 791 total points to 647, and that drop no doubt affected a majority of our fantasy football teams. I…

Week 1: Stock Up and Stock Down

Week 1 is over, and with it comes the annual tradition of Dynasty managers trying to determine which performances actually matter… and which ones we should probably pretend never happened. One game is never enough to change our evaluation of a player completely. But Week 1 can give us clues about usage, opportunity, coaching philosophy,…

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

Is there a week that causes more mental turmoil than Week 1? Months of anticipation, player flag plants, projection wish casting, deep dives into data, and cramming every piece of news into our brains, all in the name of constructing the perfect roster. Then Week 1 happens, and the entire fantasy football world goes on…

2026 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings: OMFG Tiers, Projections & Draft Strategy

My 2026 fantasy football quarterback rankings start with a simple question: which parts of a quarterback’s profile actually help us predict what comes next? Two quarterbacks can finish with similar fantasy numbers while getting there in completely different ways. One may rely on passing volume. Another may gain a major advantage on the ground. A…

Pick or Frick? Week 16 (Fantasy Points Allowed Trends)

In the NFL, performance can drastically change on a weekly basis due to injuries, schematics, and even weather.
