Week 6 Sleeper Squad (2026)

Oh, the football is footballing, the bye weeks are causing chaos, and this is my favorite week of the season! I don’t love Week 6 randomly; it’s my birthday week, so if there’s ever someone who should be rewarded this week, it should be me! As always, I’m recapping last week’s “Sleeper Squad.” We got…

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 6 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

Five weeks into the season, fantasy managers are trying to determine which performances they can trust. A touchdown can rescue a quiet afternoon, and one long reception can turn limited involvement into a useful finish. The harder question comes when it is time to set the next lineup: Who actually controls the opportunities in these…

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

Perception vs. Reality. A constant struggle that typically differentiates the informed from the vibers. “Why is scoring so low this year?” “Wide receivers are better than running backs.” “Tight ends are useless after the top five.” These are examples of questions and statements that have come across my feed over the past couple of weeks….

The OMFG Matchup Report: Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections, Injuries & Start/Sit

I have repeatedly talked about how the fantasy football season is a war of attrition, but even I have to admit the number of expensive fantasy assets already hit by injuries is alarming this early. De’Von Achane is lost for the season with a torn ACL. A.J. Brown has been sidelined by a high ankle…

144 fewer points. From roughly 49 points per game to 40 points per game. What am I talking about? The difference in scoring around the NFL from Week 1 to Week 2. The league went from 791 total points to 647, and that drop no doubt affected a majority of our fantasy football teams. I…

Week 1: Stock Up and Stock Down

Week 1 is over, and with it comes the annual tradition of Dynasty managers trying to determine which performances actually matter… and which ones we should probably pretend never happened. One game is never enough to change our evaluation of a player completely. But Week 1 can give us clues about usage, opportunity, coaching philosophy,…

Wide receiver may be the best position in fantasy football for showing why last year’s points do not tell the entire story. My 2026 fantasy football wide receiver rankings are built around that problem. Two receivers can produce similar fantasy totals through very different profiles. One may command targets whenever he runs a route. Another…

Pick or Frick? Week 10 (Fantasy Points Allowed Trends)

In the NFL, performance can drastically change on a weekly basis due to injuries, schematics, and even weather.
